Race born, road ready. The CBR600RR is pure supersport, developed with input from the HRC engineers behind the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. A high-revving 600cc inline-four delivers 119hp, and a Bosch 6-axis IMU manages a full suite of race-derived electronics. Add a lightweight aluminium chassis, fully adjustable Showa suspension and a front spoiler for extra downforce, and the result is razor-sharp precision on the road or on track. Now updated with more downforce and three-mode ABS, this is the CBR600RR at its very best.
600cc inline four-cylinder engine
Producing 89kW (119hp) at 14,250rpm and 63Nm at 11,500rpm, the CBR600RR’s engine pulls strongly through the mid-range before screaming towards its high-revving top end. Race-developed intake, valve timing and internals keep it sharp, responsive and thrilling every time you open the throttle.
Revolutionary precision
The crankshaft, conrods and pistons are selected to tight weight tolerances, reducing vibration and sharpening the engine’s rotational feel. That level of detail is what makes the CBR600RR feel so connected and precise.
6-axis IMU
A Bosch 6-axis IMU monitors the bike’s movement 100 times per second. It controls HSTC, Cornering ABS and front and rear Wheelie Control, so you can ride with total confidence however hard you push.
Advanced riding technology
Throttle By Wire and the IMU work together to manage power, engine braking and traction. Choose from five Power modes, three Engine Brake settings and nine levels of Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) to set the bike up exactly how you want it, from wet roads to dry track days.
Quickshifter
Clutchless upshifts and downshifts keep you in the power band and focused on your line. Crisp, fast gear changes come as standard, alongside an assisted slipper clutch.
Three-mode ABS
Three ABS settings, including a dedicated circuit mode, let you tailor braking to the road or the racetrack. Cornering ABS adds another layer of control when you’re leaned over.
Razor-fast chassis agility
An aluminium twin-spar frame and aluminium swingarm keep mass low and centralised, with a kerb weight of just 193kg. The Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) keeps the front end calm and composed at speed.
Race-ready Showa suspension and brakes
Fully adjustable Showa Big Piston USD forks up front and a Showa Pro-Link monoshock at the rear give you sports bike-spec handling and feel. Four-piston radial-mount front calipers deliver powerful, precise stopping.
More downforce, more control
A front fairing spoiler generates extra downforce, keeping the front tyre loaded under hard braking and through fast corners. The CENTRE-UP exhaust centralises mass for even sharper agility.
MORE ABOUT OUR TECHNOLOGY
CBR. Three very special letters with a momentous history. Developed with input from the HRC engineers behind the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, the CBR600RR carries real racing DNA into every detail, from its sharp, aerodynamic bodywork to the iconic CBR Tricolour styling. For riders who want to take it further, HRC Kits are available for WSS, SPB and Stock/Trackday racing, covering everything from intake and exhaust to suspension and ECU.
